In this story, the man talks about many morals in his life. The most important one that stuck out to me the most is the one when a professor tells his students no. The students become frustrated with the professor and tell him that he refuses to simply listen to their ideas. He then boldly claims that because he simply rejects their ideas, doesn't mean he doesn't listen, love, and support them.
I thought this was a wonderful lesson because we as Christians forget that God always hears our prayers, however the answer to our prayers isn't always what we expect or desire. The ultimate goal in our minds should be simply to love God and respect his decision, whatever it may be.
